With the option to start Portuguese with no prior knowledge of the language, on this joint degree in the heart of London you will attain a high level of proficiency in both French and Portuguese language. The department offers an unrivalled variety of courses on Portuguese and Brazilian studies: from the medieval to the contemporary, on literature, linguistics, art, history, popular music, film, theatre and translation. The year abroad is normally split between French and Portuguese-speaking countries (usually Portugal or Brazil).
