This course has clinical training at its heart, but also emphasises the importance of having a fundamental scientific understanding of how medicines are developed, and how they react with the human body. This course therefore uses a diverse range of teaching styles. You will experience some traditional teaching methods such as lectures and small-group tutorials, as well as practical training working alongside various other healthcare professionals. Furthermore, to enhance your studies and put your learning into practical application, you will undertake placements throughout the course. These placements offer exciting opportunities to put theory into real-life context and gain a valuable insight into the different areas of pharmacy.
