This challenging course is designed for students looking to pursue a career in Musical Theatre. Building on the core skills in acting, singing and dance, to support students in becoming well-rounded performers.
Students will work to a schedule that emulates that of a professional company. Emphasis will be given in the first term to preparation for entry to conservatoire/drama schools and the year will culminate with a showcase.
There will be the opportunity to study a broad range of modules within the course including- Development of Acting Skills, Physical Theatre Performance and Creative Arts Professional Practice. Progress from the course can lead to Drama School, University or directly into the profession.
Higher National Certificate - HNC
Duration: 1 year
Study mode: Full-time
English language requirements: No factor below 5.5. For those resident in the UK who have suitable work experience, a college English test is available to show competency in English.
Qualification requirements: CCC-CDD (±13 PT)
