The Foundation course provides a pathway to BEng and MEng degree courses in Mechanical Engineering. If you wish to study Mechanical BEng/MEng degrees at City, University of London, but do not satisfy the entry requirements, Foundation courses can be the first year of a four-year BEng, or a five-year MEng, degree. The overall aim of the programme is to provide a well-rounded education and also specialised training for a professional career in the industries underpinned by the mechanical engineering disciplines. This will include the research, development, design, production, commissioning and management aspects of those industries.
