Our one-year full-time course is integrated with a further three-year undergraduate degree, and will equip you with the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to successfully meet the challenges of our BSc Marine Biology programme. In this preliminary year of study you will develop your understanding of the principles on which the sciences are based and the mathematics underpinning the core science disciplines, which will enable you to apply scientific principles to solve problems. You will also undertake laboratory work and a variety of assignments to develop your critical thinking and problem solving.
