Globally, agricultural businesses face the same challenges but in different contexts and environments. Our degree offers a unique opportunity to study at one of our international partner universities for a year. This enables you to develop your understanding of agriculture from an international perspective, from the science and production of crops and animals to the management skills needed to work in agricultural businesses and related industries. This international exposure will allow you to develop new perspectives on agricultural science to bring back to Nottingham, where you can apply and test them. We continue this hands-on approach with field trips and visits to commercial farms, businesses and research organisations. The course can be taken over four years to include a year in computing science or an industrial placement to further enhance your skill set.
