Lancaster's four-year German Studies and Linguistics degree includes a year studying or working in a German speaking country. You'll spend the third year studying abroad, giving you an intensive exposure to the language as well as the opportunity to experience German culture first hand. Your Linguistics courses complement your language studies by focusing on the sound, grammar and meaning systems of different languages.
