The French language element of this course may be taken at any level, from beginners’ to more advanced levels. Your French language lessons will be accompanied by modules covering culture, history, and politics, to ensure you have a good overview of the context in which French is spoken. Furthermore, throughout this course you will study the theory and history of communications and develop a strong sense of the political, economic, social and cultural factors that affect how we understand each other in the modern world. You will have access to world-class teaching resources such as our Self-Access Centre, which provides you with extensive independent language learning facilities. In addition, you will further develop your language skills and cultural understanding during your third year spent abroad.
