Our BMedSc Biomedical Materials Science programme will teach you how novel biomaterials for medical application are developed, with a major focus on tissue engineering, orthopaedic and dental biomaterials. Hip replacements, dental implants, tissue engineering scaffolds and pacemakers are just some of the examples of biomaterials that are increasingly important for the well being of our ageing population.
