Our Biomedical Engineering programmes are informed by our internationally renowned Centre for Biomedical Engineering which gives you access to the latest pioneering techniques. You will also benefit from Surrey’s new £12.5m Innovation for Health Learning Laboratory, and experience visits to clinical and industrial centres, particularly in your final year. The strength of our programme comes from our breadth of teaching and strong applied, clinical focus. This is not just limited to ‘hips and knees’, but includes human movement, biosensors, prosthesis design and signal processing, as well as core topics such as implant technology.
