Biochemistry is the study of the structure and function of living organisms at the molecular level. Our flexible Biochemistry degree provides students with core modules in Biochemistry coupled to a solid background in other related fields such as genetics and cell biology. This training in all aspects of Biochemistry is important when considering the multidisciplinary and interactive nature of today's scientific work environments. On this four-year MSci Hons course you will follow the same curriculum as the students studying the BSc course but will have the opportunity to focus on particular areas of interest to you in your final year. You will also carry out an extended laboratory-based project.
