The HND in Animal Management provides a specialist work related programme of study that covers key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the sector. Successful completion of this course will enable students to enter the industry at management level.
It is an exciting time to join the course as students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of species in our new animal management centre. Built up of both mandatory and optional units the HND offers students the flexibility to create a pathway towards their particular career interests.
Modules include: Business Environment, Animal Health and Welfare, Exotics, Animal Behaviour, Management of Animal Collections and Animal Adaptions. Opportunities also exist for learners to participate in work experience and placements with a wide range of local industry employers.
This course is aimed at students over the age of 18, looking to pursue a career in the animal management and welfare sector. Alternatively, students will have the option to complete the final year of honours degree at university.

Study mode: Full-time
English language requirements: No factor below 5.5. For those resident in the UK who have suitable work experience, a college English test is available to show competency in English.
Qualification requirements: CCC-CDD (±13 PT)
